The Slot Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Las Vegas, NV, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing slot machines and related electronic gaming equipment on the casino floor. Daily tasks include performing diagnostic tests, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and using hand tools to complete repairs and adjustments. The Slot Technician will ensure machines comply with safety and regulatory standards, complete documentation of maintenance activities, and support game moves or floor layout changes as needed.
This role interacts regularly with casino staff and guests to resolve machine issues promptly and provide clear, courteous updates on service status. The Slot Technician will collaborate with supervisors and other technical personnel to maintain high equipment uptime and contribute to an efficient, visually appealing gaming environment.
- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Maintenance & Repair skills for electronic gaming equipment.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with Hand Tools and basic mechanical/electrical practices used in slot machine installation and service.
- Candidates should possess effective Supervisory Skills for guiding tasks, coordinating with team members, and supporting floor operations when needed.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service abilities to interact professionally with casino staff and guests while resolving machine issues.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with gaming regulations, ability to read technical manuals and schematics, strong attention to detail, and reliable time management.
- Previous experience as a slot technician or in an electronics, maintenance, or technical support role is preferred; vocational training or certification in electronics or a related field is a plus.
