Safety Representative
Responsible for inspecting, evaluating, reporting, and enforcing safety standards and policies at Allegiant Stadium events.
Essential Functions- Respond to all guest and employee injuries or illnesses during events and document and report incidents.
- Interview guests and witnesses and accurately record their statements.
- Photograph all relevant items related to incident investigations.
- Review and preserve video coverage of all guest and employee injuries.
- Tag out or remove damaged equipment from service.
- Conduct visual inspections throughout event durations to ensure compliance with safety practices and policies, including:
- All staff wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Emergency exits, pathways, and stairwells fully unobstructed, accessible, marked, lighted, and clearly defined.
- Walking and working surfaces free from slip, trip, fall hazards, debris, spilled liquids, and other dangers.
- Electrical hazards corrected; temporary electrical routed through accessible cable trays, not used for permanent infrastructure, and no exposed wiring.
- Combustible and hazardous materials stored and disposed of properly.
- Proper illumination of all areas.
- Fire extinguishers mounted, serviced, tagged, and accessible.
- At least 18 inches of clearance between sprinkler heads and stored items, activations, and event setup.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college education in a related field preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel); ability to create detailed and legible investigation reports.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in report writing, inspections, investigations, safety, or security, preferably in hospitality/entertainment, professional sports, or facility management.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain discretion regarding company, personal, private, and medical information.
- Compliance with state laws and local policies.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays as required.
- Capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and traverse diverse terrain and floor surfaces.
- Physical ability to walk, stand, and lift for long periods.
- Proficiency in operating a tablet or laptop efficiently.
- Teamwork skills and ability to interact with multiple departments.
- Motivated self‑starter with a proactive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
