If you’re tired of watching great estate plans stall after the signing, this role fixes that.
Asset Preservation Wealth & Tax (“AP Wealth & Tax”) brings wealth management, tax planning, and estate planning support into one coordinated team, so your legal work gets implemented with the right beneficiary, titling, and tax decisions—not left to chance.
- FYTC: $180,000–$275,000+ (base + bonus; based on experience and scope)
- Full-time, in-office across AP’s Las Vegas-area offices (Las Vegas/Summerlin/Henderson)
- Malpractice coverage plus typical professional support (bar dues/CLE reimbursement; details finalized during offer)
You’ll be AP Wealth & Tax’s in-market Estate Planning Attorney for Las Vegas—owning Nevada-compliant planning and building a repeatable document process that can keep up with demand.
What you’ll do:
- Run discovery meetings and turn family dynamics into clear planning decisions that clients understand
- Draft and oversee execution of core documents: revocable trusts, wills, financial POAs, and health care directives/POAs (Nevada compliant)
- Align estate strategy with internal tax and advisory teams (retirement distribution, ownership structure, beneficiary designations)
- Review/update existing plans and quickly close gaps in titling, beneficiaries, and overall plan coherence
- Create and maintain templates, checklists, and standards that increase speed while protecting quality and risk controls
AP Wealth & Tax is a marketing-forward, education-driven, fiduciary-led firm with multiple offices across the Las Vegas metro and a steady flow of planning conversations generated through seminars, workshops, and media. In the Las Vegas market, the firm highlights 28 years of service, $1B+ total managed nest eggs, and 9K+ client households (firm-stated). You’ll work alongside tax pros and advisors in a high-trust environment where clients want coordinated guidance—retirement, tax strategy, and legacy planning in one plan.
Whoyou are
You’re a client-friendly counselor with strong drafting instincts—fast, accurate, calm under volume, and able to explain tradeoffs in plain language. You like collaboration and systems: the right template and checklist so that quality scales. This is not for you if you want a slow, bespoke-only practice or you prefer working in isolation.

- Strong client-facing communication with mass affluent to HNW households
- Ability to manage workflow in a production environment; willing to work in-office in the Las Vegas metro
- Advanced tax exposure (LL.M. in Taxation, CPA/EA collaboration, or deep practical experience)
- Complex planning experience (irrevocable trusts, asset protection, succession, charitable planning)
- Experience embedded with a wealth management, family office, or tax-integrated practice
