ECL Entertainment, based in Las Vegas, Nevada, operates live horse racing and four historic horse racing locations in Kentucky, including The Mint Gaming Hall at Kentucky Downs as well as charitable gaming locations in New Hampshire that also operate historic horse racing machines. ECL Entertainment also operates Wyoming Downs and 307 Horse Racing, which have live horse racing and over thirty historical horse racing locations throughout Wyoming.
SCOPEThe Financial Analyst will support a growing finance team headquartered in Las Vegas and collaborate with finance staff across multiple states. This role is ideal for an early-career professional seeking hands‑on experience in a dynamic and fast‑growing company. Candidates who enjoy working extensively in Excel, developing financial models, and tackling evolving business needs will thrive in this environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Assists with financial modeling, operating budgets/forecasts, and 5-year plans.
- Produce financial reports, on annual, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc schedules.
- Involved with Board reporting.
- Able to perform ad hoc analyses based on business needs.
- Assists with financial due diligence for new jurisdictions and acquisitions and other expansion opportunities.
- Creation of and oversight on Daily Operating Report.
- Assists in establishment of labor and KPI reporting.
- Drives culture by consistently demonstrating leadership, a positive attitude, and the BIG Service standards.
- 1-3 years of experience (title and salary based on experience), preferably in the gaming and/or hospitality industries.
- Las Vegas-based and able to work on a hybrid office schedule, with the ability to travel on occasion.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or another quantitative field.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
- Critical thinking skills with a curiosity for improving current processes.
- Ability to build strong working relationships across departments.
- Ability to self‑manage and work independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate Excel skills.
- Working knowledge of budget management, financial analysis, financial modeling and basic accounting principles.
- Must pass all required pre‑screening and background checks.
