Position: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Gaming & Entertainment

Parcc Associates is representing a client in the gaming and entertainment industry seeking a strategic, hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This is a unique opportunity to shape the financial direction of an innovative company delivering electronic gaming experiences to regulated markets.

Role Overview

The CFO will serve as a key strategic partner to the President and executive team
, responsible for guiding financial strategy, risk management, and operational execution. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines financial oversight with operational influence
, ensuring the company’s financial health, scalability, and alignment with growth objectives.

You will lead finance and accounting teams, oversee financial planning, reporting, compliance, and capital strategy, and play a critical role in supporting business growth and operational efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Financial Leadership
  • Develop and execute the company’s overall financial strategy to support growth and operational objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the President and leadership team on business performance, long-term planning, and new initiatives.
  • Evaluate financial impact of strategic decisions and market expansion opportunities.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Monitor financial KPIs and provide timely, actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Oversee accurate preparation of internal and external financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS.
  • Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
  • Partner with auditors, legal advisors, and regulators as needed.
  • Identify, mitigate, and monitor financial risks.
  • Implement and maintain strong internal controls to protect assets and ensure compliance.
  • Oversee cash flow, capital structure, debt, and equity strategies.
  • Lead fundraising, venture capital, private equity, or IPO readiness initiatives as needed.
Operational & Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Collaborate with operations, sales, marketing, HR, and product teams to align financial goals with business strategy.
  • Drive efficiency and cost optimization initiatives across the organization.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high‑performing finance team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications

Required:
  • 10+ years in senior financial leadership roles (CFO, VP Finance, Director Finance).
  • Experience with financial reporting under GAAP or IFRS
    .
  • Proven ability to manage capital, fundraising, or IPO readiness
    .
  • Track record of building and leading finance teams
    .
  • Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
  • Experience in regulated industries or gaming finance highly preferred.
Preferred:
  • CPA or MBA.
  • Experience implementing ERP or financial systems (SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, Quick Books).
  • Expertise in risk management, treasury, and cash flow optimization.
