Role Description

This full-time on-site role in Las Vegas, NV, offers the unique opportunity to serve as the Board Treasurer for W.O.R.L.D. Academy. The Board Treasurer will oversee the financial health of the organization by managing budgets, overseeing financial records, and ensuring compliance with all fiscal regulations. Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, collaborating on financial planning initiatives, offering budgetary oversight, and supporting accounting practices.

The Board Treasurer will also advise the board and leadership on financial strategy, ensure accurate reporting, and actively contribute to the financial sustainability of the school.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Financial Statements and experience in Financial Reporting
  • Strong knowledge of Financial Planning and sound decision-making in fiscal matters
  • Expertise in Budgeting and Accounting processes with a proven track record
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Experience in nonprofit or educational finance is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
