Senior Accountant

Randstad is partnering with a prominent Real Estate firm to find a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their growing team. If you have a strong background in real estate accounting and a knack for mentorship, we want to hear from you!

Why This Role? This is a pivotal position where you will not only manage complex financial data but also lead a team of three Staff Accountants. You will play a key role in ensuring financial stability through meticulous cash flow management and multi-entity consolidations.

What You’ll Do:

• Direct Leadership: Train and support staff on financial preparation to ensure efficient operations.
• Financial Integrity: Oversee the month-end close and prepare consolidated reporting for various property units.
• Strategic Support: Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow analysis to support decision-making.
• Compliance & Audit: Act as the point of contact for external auditors and ensure all tax filings meet regulatory standards.

What You Bring:

• Real Estate Expertise: 5+ years of experience in a Senior Accountant role, specifically within property management.
• Systems Knowledge: Experience with industry-standard software like Yardi, Real Page, or Sage.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required; a CPA is highly preferred.
