What You’ll Do:
  • Oversee daily NAV production and fund accounting by third-party administrators across Simplify's ETF platform, including reconciliations, expense accruals, distributions, and fund-level accounting
  • Investigate and resolve NAV breaks, pricing exceptions, and reconciliation discrepancies
  • Manage ETF operational workflows: creations/redemptions, basket operations, settlements, collateral movements, financing, and cash positioning
  • Coordinate with custodians, administrators, counter parties, auditors, and tax providers to ensure accurate, timely support
  • Support operations for swaps, futures, options, and other derivatives used across Simplify's strategies
  • Partner with Trading, Portfolio Management, Compliance, Finance, Legal, and Risk Management on fund support and strategic projects
  • Lead operational onboarding for new ETF launches, coordinating with administrators, custodians, exchanges, market makers, and APs
  • Drive scalability initiatives, workflow automation, and stronger operational controls across the platform

What You Have:
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in ETF operations, fund accounting, fund administration or investment operations
  • Strong working knowledge of ETF structures, NAV processes, reconciliations, and fund accounting oversight within a 1940 Act framework
  • Operational knowledge in listed and OTC derivatives including swaps, futures, and options
  • Experience overseeing third-party fund administrators and service providers
  • Experience managing and coordinating external audit processes and procedures
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and independently troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Solid cross-functional project management skills with the ability to interact across operations, trading, portfolio management, compliance, and external counter parties
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Experience working within institutional fund accounting environments and platforms such as FIS Investment Accounting Manager (formerly Invest One), Bloomberg, BNY NEXEN, Eze OMS or similar systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related quantitative field required
