job summary:

Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join their team and help drive their mission of delivering outstanding service and results.

Compensation: $80,000-$90,000 annually + bonus and benefits

Schedule: Flexible work hours promoting work-life balance

responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review complex tax returns including individual (1040), corporate (1120, 1120S), and partnership (1065) filings.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws and firm standards.
  • Provide proactive tax planning strategies to clients across a variety of industries.
  • Clearly explain tax positions, liabilities, and potential planning opportunities.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, maintaining strong relationships through excellent service and regular communication.
  • Guide clients through document collection, compliance issues, and planning conversations.
  • Research complex tax matters and remain current on federal, state, and local tax changes.
qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA or EA preferred (or actively pursuing certification).
  • 2+ years of recent public accounting experience focused on tax preparation and review.
  • Strong understanding of individual, corporate, and partnership tax laws.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience with multi-state filings and international tax matters is preferred
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Bilingual in Spanish or other languages is preferred
