Controller, Finance & Banking, Accounting Manager

Tatum by Randstad is working with a client in the food & Beverage, Entertainment, and gaming industry that is looking to bring on an accounting consultant that would be at the controller/director of accounting level to take on some project work that has come up as a result of an ERP implementation. The company is 100% onsite and would be looking for the accounting consultant to take on the following duties:

• Assist with the reconciliation process and ensure the balance sheet and bank reconciliations are clean and prepared in a timely manner.
• Assist with streamlining the month end close and preparing a month end checklist that the staff will follow to ensure the close process is seamless.
• Assist with post ERP projects, such as data testing.
• Take ownership for moving the corporate credit cat and Virtual Card (V-Card) program to a new bank.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required
• CPA or MBA is desired
• Prior experience in public accounting is a plus.
• 7+ years of heading up the month end close function is required.
• Prior experience with an ERP implementation is required.
• Advanced excel skills and prior experience with Oracle, Workday, or SAP is required.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are a must
