Responsible for reviewing daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Completes requests for fee and payment reversals on loans as well as requests for loan extension and due date changes.
Assists in tracking required collateral insurance as well as processes insurance adjustments, refunds, or reimbursements for loans.
Responsible for handing certain aspects of insurance product claims, cancellations, and member issues.
Coordinates and assists in the claim process with CUNA Mutual for debt protection claims, to ensure prompt payment reimbursement to the organization. When applicable, coordinates this effort with the Collections department.
Assist with documentation and title information for the collections department for the repossession process.
Monitor and process loan payoffs as well as provide the communication to dealerships, insurance companies, and any appropriate parties in an accurate and timely manner.
Responsible for tracking of all Deed and Title policies for our HELOC portfolio. This also includes processing reconveyances when the loans have been paid in full and closed.
Manages all incoming fax and email correspondence that pertains to loan servicing.
Responds to member problems and requests, when necessary, and assists with completion of forms and documents.
Maintains a variety of loan records, documents, and files which includes maintaining the vault and our storage records at Iron Mountain.
Assists in training other team members.
Works as part of an in-branch and remote TEAM to ensure that Members and co-workers are assisted in a “Service First” manner.
Produces quality work efficiently and free from errors.
Follows guidelines and policies such as Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act and Office of Foreign Assets Control, CIP, Reg CC, B, D, E and Z intended to limit risk and exposure for the organization and its members. Types of risk include fraudulent transactions, account fraud or mishandling, compliance with policies, security guidelines and the organizations reputation.
Provides member service in accordance with CCU standards.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS High School diploma or equivalent
Knowledge and understanding of consumer lending procedures, practices and policies and credit fundamentals as would normally be acquired through experience in branch operations.
