Mortgage Loan Processor

Join our Mortgage Lending team and help our members achieve their home ownership goals!

We are seeking a detail-oriented and member-focused Mortgage Loan Processor to support the processing of first mortgage loan applications. In this role, you’ll be responsible for gathering, reviewing, and organizing documentation, ensuring compliance and preparing complete loan files for underwriting review.

• Assemble and organize documentation in compliance with FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC requirements
• Communicate with applicants, loan officers, underwriters, and vendors to obtain and verify required documentation
• Review loan files to ensure all documentation satisfies underwriting and AUS stipulations
• Order appraisals, credit reports, title work, and other required documentation
• Enter and maintain accurate loan information within mortgage processing systems
• Prepare files for underwriting submission and follow up on approved and declined loan applications
• Ensure loan files meet investor and regulatory guidelines while maintaining established processing timelines

• Working knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC underwriting guidelines
• Experience using mortgage processing software and standard office applications
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to build effective working relationships with members, coworkers, and business partners

High School Diploma or GED required

Two years of government of mortgage loan processing experience preferred
