The Associate Financial Planner is a full-time, on‑site role based in Las Vegas, NV. This role supports lead advisors in delivering holistic financial planning and investment management services to clients. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include gathering and analyzing client financial data, preparing financial plans, assisting with retirement and cash flow projections, and supporting investment portfolio reviews. The Associate Financial Planner will help document client meetings, follow up on action items, maintain accurate records in planning and CRM systems, and coordinate with team members to ensure timely and professional client service.
The role may also involve conducting research on planning strategies, contributing to client education materials, and participating in ongoing process improvements.
- Candidates should possess skills in Financial Planning and Personal Financial Planning, with the ability to analyze client situations and develop tailored recommendations.
- Candidates should possess a strong foundation in Finance, including understanding of investments, risk management, and cash flow analysis.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Retirement Planning, including employer-sponsored plans, IRAs, and distribution strategies.
- Candidates should possess or be actively pursuing Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) certification, or an equivalent professional designation.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, financial planning, economics, accounting, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time‑management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex topics in accessible terms.
- High ethical standards, commitment to fiduciary responsibility, and a client‑centered mindset.
- Proficiency with financial planning software, CRM systems, and common office productivity tools is beneficial.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in an on‑site team environment and maintain confidentiality of client information.
