Position: Chief Financial Officer (m/f/o)

We are seeking an entrepreneurial, commercially minded Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a private equity-backed company in Las Vegas to help lead its transformation into a highly scalable, professionally managed business positioned for a successful sale or recapitalization within 3–5 years.

This role will function as a key member of the executive leadership team and will work closely with the CEO, private equity sponsor, board of directors, and international operating teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Value Creation & Exit Preparation

Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in partnership with the CEO and PE sponsor;

Build a 3–5 year value-creation plan tied to revenue growth, EBITDA expansion, cash generation, working-capital improvement, and enterprise value;

Establish the financial infrastructure, reporting, controls, and KPIs required for institutional-quality management;

Develop credible monthly and quarterly forecasts and an integrated long-range financial model;

Identify opportunities to improve EBITDA through pricing, productivity, procurement, working capital, organizational design, and capital allocation;

Ensure the business can withstand financial, operational tax, and quality of earnings diligence.

Own accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax, audit, financial reporting, and risk management;

Upgrade the finance organization, systems, processes, and talent as the company scales;

Establish rigorous monthly close and management-reporting processes;

Create actionable dashboards covering revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, cash flow, working capital, customer concentration, operational performance, and other value-creation metrics;

Manage banking relationships, debt facilities, liquidity, and capital allocation;

Partner with the board and sponsor on budgets, forecasts, covenant compliance, and strategic decisions.

International Operations

Provide financial leadership across U.S. and international operations;

Develop appropriate reporting, controls, and performance-management systems for international subsidiaries and operating units;

Manage foreign-exchange exposure, international tax considerations, transfer pricing, and cross-border cash management in coordination with external advisors;

Travel internationally as required to support acquisitions, operating companies, customers, suppliers, and management teams;

Ensure consistent financial discipline while allowing appropriate local operating autonomy.

M&A and Growth

Lead or materially support acquisition evaluation, financial due diligence, valuation, transaction modeling, and integration;

Develop acquisition models and investment cases for the CEO, board, and PE sponsor;

Establish post-acquisition financial controls and reporting;

Support organic growth initiatives, new market entry, pricing strategy, and strategic partnerships.

Sponsor & Board Management

Serve as the primary financial partner to the private equity sponsor and board;

Prepare board materials, financial analyses, operating reviews, and investor reporting;

Communicate clearly with sophisticated investors, lenders, auditors, attorneys, and transaction advisors;

Be comfortable operating in an environment where speed, accountability, transparency, and measurable value creation are expected.

Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will ideally have:

15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including meaningful CFO, divisional CFO, VP Finance, or equivalent experience;

Experience with a private equity-backed company, investment banking, transaction advisory, or a comparable high-growth/transaction-oriented environment;

Demonstrated experience increasing enterprise value and preparing a company for a liquidity event;

Strong understanding of EBITDA, cash flow, working capital, leverage, debt covenants, and enterprise valuation;
