Chief Financial Officer

We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to provide strategic financial leadership for a growing mission-driven nonprofit in Las Vegas, Nevada. This executive will work closely with senior leadership to guide long-term planning, strengthen financial operations, and support responsible expansion across a broad and evolving organization. The ideal candidate brings sound judgment, a collaborative approach, and the ability to translate financial insight into practical decision-making that advances the organization's impact.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the organization's financial strategy, aligning budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans with growth objectives and mission priorities.
• Partner with executive leadership to evaluate opportunities, assess financial risk, and support informed decisions across programs and operations.
• Oversee accounting, reporting, cash management, and internal controls to ensure accuracy, transparency, and regulatory compliance.
• Direct the annual budgeting process and ongoing financial forecasting for a complex nonprofit environment with multiple stakeholders and funding sources.
• Strengthen audit readiness and financial governance by maintaining effective policies, documentation, and oversight practices.
• Build and mentor a high-performing finance function while promoting financial understanding and accountability throughout the organization.
• Develop clear financial reporting for leadership and board-level audiences, highlighting trends, performance, and key business considerations.
• Support funding growth by helping ensure strong fiscal stewardship, sustainable resource planning, and confidence among partners and supporters.
