Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Financial Compliance
Summary: The Compliance Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring casino operations and the Company comply with all Anti Money Laundering (AML) Program requirements and Title 31 regulations. Under the direction of the Sr. Corporate Compliance Manager, this position supports a variety of compliance initiatives, including conducting Title 31 audits, performing Know Your Customer (KYC) research and due diligence, collaborating with casino personnel, and preparing detailed reports.
The Compliance Specialist helps promote a strong culture of compliance while ensuring adherence to applicable federal and state regulations.
- Perform daily Title 31 audits of gaming and financial transactions, tracing patron activity throughout the duration of their casino visit.
- Investigate anomalous or unusual patron behavior to identify potential compliance concerns
- Maintenance and administer the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) training program for applicable employees.
- Prepare and file Currency Transaction Reports, (CTRs) and Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) with FinCEN.
- Conduct monthly Know Your Customer (KYC) reviews and AML analytics procedures.
- Monitor, track and identify trends through company-wide AML analytics and report findings, concerns and recommendations to Compliance Leadership
- Research suspicious activity and prepare Suspicious Activity Incident Reports (SAIRs) for review by AML Committee.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and organized records of all compliance-related reports, investigations, training records, and supporting documentation.
- Prepare and issue Exception Notices for instances of noncompliance with Title 31 policies and procedures.
- Assist the Senior Corporate Compliance Manager with Title 31 related items during internal and external audits, regulatory examinations and compliance reviews.
- Participation in the completion of the annual AML Risk Assessments and related compliance initiatives.
- Prepare reports, summaries, and presentations related to compliance activities findings and recommendations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Minimum
21years of age. - Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to the Company’s standards.
- Organizational skills to multi-task and prioritize projects, work independently, and use critical thinking to analyze data.
- Ability to function effectively with attention to detail while meeting established deadlines.
- Ability to efficiently operate at 10-key and possess basic math skills.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English in all manners.
- Must possess the manual dexterity to access the computer via keyboard, be seated before a computer monitor for extended periods of time, and work indoors in a fast-paced, busy environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
- High School Diploma
- Prior Gaming Compliance preferred or 1+ year auditing, cage cashier or similar position in the casino industry.
Must be able to obtain a Nevada Gaming Registration.
