VP​/Counsel, Government Compliance

The Government Compliance Counsel leads the organization's compliance framework and ensures adherence to all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and government contract requirements. This role provides strategic guidance and serves as a key advisor to senior leadership on regulatory and government‑related matters.

• Develop and oversee a comprehensive government compliance program, including policies, training, and monitoring.
• Track regulatory changes and assess business impact; recommend and implement updates.
• Provide strategic compliance guidance to executive leadership.
• Partner with Legal, Operations, Internal Audit, Finance, HR, and external advisors to ensure coordinated compliance efforts.
• Ensure compliance with laws related to government contracting, ethics, trade, environmental, labor, and reporting.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for regulators, auditors, and government agencies.

• 8-10 years of experience in government compliance, regulatory affairs, legal, or risk management.
• Juris Doctor (JD).
• Experience working with federal and state regulators.
• Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (or eligible for in‑house counsel status).

• Strong ability to work with regulators, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
• Critical thinking, initiative, and independent judgment.
• Strong decision‑making and multitasking skills; able to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with MS Office; excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and operate with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel to company locations as needed.
