this position will be based in las vegas. Supervise the work of inspectors who inspect health care facilities throughout nevada; provide guidance and direction to inspection staff, ensure inspection documents and processes are completed timely, ensure sanctions and enforcement processes are applied uniformly and timely. Communicate with and educate health care facilities concerning applicable regulations and statutes. Work with industry groups to improve patient outcomes and assure regulatory compliance.
Also conduct inspections when necessary, thus the position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to travel to facilities through nevada as needed. Must be able to travel outside of nevada as needed to attend training and/or conferences. Health facilities inspectors – registered nurse (rn) conduct inspections of health care facilities and services at a variety of facilities.
