Hair dreams Salon by Michael Boychuck Compensation: $18.00 per hour

We are currently seeking a dynamic, high energy and eager to learn Salon Assistant who will be working specifically with Michael Boychuck. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and is passionate about both customer service and the beauty industry. The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, self-motivated, and capable of multitasking effectively.

• Assist Michael with day-to-day operations on his color clients also including shampooing, blow drying, and basic styling.
• Learn highlight and color formulas, assist with preparing Michael's high profile clientele each day.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of salon tools, stations, and common areas
• Ensure smooth workflow by anticipating the needs of the team and clients
• Support back-of-house duties as needed to keep the salon running efficiently, including but not limited to stocking client refreshments and supplies.

• Prior experience in customer service is required
• Previous salon, spa, or beauty retail experience is highly preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to manage time effectively and remain calm under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• A valid Cosmetology License is required.
