The Hairstylist will provide professional hair services, including consultations, haircuts, coloring, chemical treatments, styling, and maintenance recommendations for clients in a full-time, on-site role at The Parlor Aveda in Las Vegas, NV. Day-to-day tasks include greeting clients, assessing hair care needs, delivering customized services, and educating clients on appropriate Aveda products and at-home care routines. The role involves maintaining a clean and organized work station and salon space, adhering to safety and sanitation standards, and collaborating with the salon team to ensure a consistent, high-quality guest experience.

The Hairstylist will also manage appointment schedules, support retail sales through product recommendations, and participate in ongoing education to stay current with techniques and trends.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Hair Styling and Hair Care, including cutting, coloring, chemical services, and finishing techniques.
• Formal training or licensure in Cosmetology, with knowledge of salon safety, sanitation, and industry best practices.
• Strong Customer Service skills, with a focus on building long-term client relationships and delivering a welcoming, inclusive experience.
• Clear and professional Communication skills for consultations, service explanations, and product education.
• Current Nevada cosmetology license (or eligibility to obtain) and authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible hours (including evenings and weekends), and manage multiple appointments efficiently.
• Interest in using and recommending Aveda products; prior experience with Aveda or similar professional product lines is a plus.
• Commitment to ongoing learning, trend awareness, and participation in training or education offered by the salon.
