Physical Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a Part Time
Physical Therapy Assistant to provide physical therapy services to NCEP clients under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Current, valid license as a Physical Therapy Assistant
• Current State of Nevada Board of Physical Therapy Assistant License or eligibility for such licensure through the State Licensure procedure
• Prior experience working day treatment, rehabilitation and/or residential programs for individuals with traumatic brain injuries and neurological impairments is a plus

• Provide treatment including functional mobility, range of motion, strengthening, balance
• Administers direct patient care through group and individual sessions within the clinic, residence and community, under the supervision of the licensed Physical Therapist
• Prepares and transmits accurate patient information to Physical Therapist and other Clinical Team members
• Confers with therapists of other disciplines and appropriate personnel regarding progress of the patient
• Provides input on the patient's progress at various conferences
