OverviewThe Staff Pad is partnering with a hospital in Las Vegas, New Mexico to hire an Environmental Services Worker. This role plays a vital part in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to following health and safety protocols that support patient care and overall facility operations.
Responsibilities- Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of assigned areas in compliance with hospital standards.
- Handle and dispose of materials properly to prevent the spread of infection and odors.
- Safely clean and disinfect areas exposed to blood, body fluids, or infectious materials per OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Standards.
- Ensure a sanitary, comfortable, and orderly environment throughout the facility.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- At least one year of prior housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions, maintain compliance, and uphold hospital safety standards.
