Responsibilities

This position is part of the team responsible for processing the payroll for Nevada's largest healthcare provider, The Valley Health System, a Universal Health Services company. This includes 8 hospitals throughout Las Vegas region and Northern and Western Nevada, Free Standing ERs, physician practices, and surgical centers. The work environment is an energetic fast‑paced/fast‑growing dynamic setting. Job duties include:
Kronos time‑keeping setup, processing manual checks/adjustments, garnishments, processing audit, reviewing time records for compliance and accuracy, and labor distribution reporting. Healthcare industry training will be provided.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

Three to five years experience in payroll preferred.

Technical

Skills:

Computer proficiency to include word processing, spreadsheet, database, and patient accounting system.

License/

Certifications:

None.

Other:
General knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
