The Staff Pad has partnered with a hospital in Las Vegas, New Mexico to hire a Health Information Management (HIM) Technician
. This role is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and security of patient medical records while supporting daily health information operations.

Fully Onsite in Las Vegas, NM

• Organize, file, and maintain patient medical records in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards
• Retrieve and distribute medical records to authorized personnel in a timely manner
• Review records for completeness and accuracy using established quality control procedures
• Scan, index, and upload documents into electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Respond to medical record requests in compliance with HIPAA and legal requirements
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and route requests appropriately
• Stay current on HIM regulations, policies, and best practices

• Experience in health information management or medical records preferred
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize effectively
• Comfortable working with EHR systems and basic office technology
