Our Occupational Therapists evaluate and treat a wide variety of injuries, diseases and disabilities using Occupational Therapy procedures and modalities in accordance with rules and regulations of this facility, the Occupational Therapy Practice Act, and rules and regulations established by the State of Nevada, Board of Professional Regulations. - You will be evaluating, assessing, and treating a wide variety of patients, including, but not limited to patients with: neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, and other medical conditions in the areas of acute, sub-acute, rehabilitation and outpatient occupational therapy
- You will be supervising occupational therapy assistants and rehab technicians
- You will demonstrate knowledge of principles of growth and development over the life span. Must assess and interpret data reflective of the patients’ medical status and age specific needs in order to provide the appropriate care as described in the department’s policies and procedures
- You will be providing goal directed treatment program planning, implementation and modification, as well as related documentation and communication for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations
- PRN can offer 20 to 30 hours per week
- Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy
- Nevada State Occupational Therapist license
- BCLS certification
- One to two years’ hospital clinical experience…
