Job DescriptionUnder direct supervision, VHS HTM BMET performs evaluations, repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance on devices used in the care and treatment of patients at assigned VHS facilities. Meets all established key performance indicator (KPI) requirements.
ResponsibilitiesPerform evaluations, repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance on medical devices used in patient care at assigned facilities. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (CMS, TJC, CLIA, AABB, NRC, State, Local) and meet all established key performance indicator (KPI) requirements.
Qualifications- Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent
- Experience: One Year of experience working in hospital Biomedical/Clinical Engineering department preferred.

Some understanding of regulatory requirements of medical devices (CMS, TJC, CLIA, AABB, NRC, State, Local)
