Speech Pathologist (Per Diem Days) – Speech Therapy

Las Vegas, Nevada – Summerlin Hospital Medical Center

Summerlin Hospital is a 496‑bed facility with extensive services. The Valley Health System (VHS) seeks experienced Speech Pathologists to provide comprehensive assessment and goal‑oriented treatment for cognitive, communication, and swallowing functions, ensuring maximum communication and swallowing potential.

• Provide a comprehensive evaluation of cognitive, communication skills, and/or swallowing function.
• Deliver goal‑oriented treatment to facilitate maximum communication and/or swallowing potential.
• Work with a collaborative practice model, evidence‑based practice, and education & development programs within VHS.

• Master’s Degree from a university program satisfying ASHA academic and internship requirements for the Certificate of Clinical Competence.
• One to two years of experience preferred.
• Nevada State License as a Certified Speech Pathologist.
• ASHA CCC‑SLP certification or in the process of completing Clinical Fellowship year.
• Current BLS certification.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills to provide care to the age group served on the assigned unit/department.
