Medical Imaging, Medical Technologist & Lab Technician
Deliver diagnostic excellence—producing high-quality mammography images with precision, compassion, and confidence while making every patient feel seen, respected, and cared for.
At Simon Med, mammography is one of the most consequential things we do. Our Mammography Technologists are essential to delivering the advanced outpatient imaging our patients depend on—and in this modality, the image you produce, the compression you apply, and the way you speak to a patient who is nervous or in pain all matter deeply.
From screening and diagnostic mammograms to tomosynthesis, this role ensures every exam meets the highest clinical standards with genuine human care at the center.
We are looking for a tech who takes pride in technical precision, thrives in a fast-paced but supportive environment, and understands the weight and purpose of this work. If you find meaning in early detection, value efficient workflows and advanced technology, and want to grow within a collaborative team that holds itself to a higher standard—this is where you belong.
What You BringPrecision and clinical expertise: You perform screening and diagnostic mammography—including tomosynthesis—in full compliance with ACR, MQSA, and facility protocols. Your positioning is accurate, your compression technique is optimal, and you hold yourself accountable for image quality before anyone else has to. You select the right exposure parameters every time and apply ALARA principles without being prompted.
Mastery of standards and systems: You know breast anatomy, mammographic positioning, and digital tomosynthesis inside and out. You are proficient on digital mammography equipment, RIS, and PACS systems. Your documentation is thorough, your image labeling is precise, and your QA work keeps the facility compliant and accredited. MQSA, ACR, HIPAA—you do not just know the acronyms, you live by the standards.
Patient-centered care: Mammography is personal. Many of your patients are anxious, some are in pain, and a few are facing news they were not expecting. You verify identity, review medical history, explain procedures clearly, and handle every interaction with dignity and professionalism. You have the interpersonal skill to put someone at ease and the clinical skill to make the exam as comfortable as possible—without compromising image quality.
Compliance and credentialing: You maintain your ARRT certification in both Radiography (R) and Mammography (M), your state license where required, current BLS, and your MQSA-mandated 15 breast CEUs every three years. Your initial training documentation, tomosynthesis training documentation, and digital training records are complete and current. Staying compliant is not a task you are reminded to do—it is how you operate.
Agility and autonomy: You manage your own workflow in a busy outpatient environment—keeping rooms ready, performing routine quality assurance, maintaining equipment, and adapting when the schedule shifts. You are organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently without losing composure when the day picks up.
Mentorship and professionalism: When students rotate through, you take that responsibility seriously. You provide hands‑on guidance, model professionalism and technical precision, and help the next generation of mammography techs understand both the clinical and human side of this work.
What You'll GainPurpose-driven work: Early detection saves lives—and you are the one making it possible. The #1 reason people stay at Simon Med is the sense of purpose that comes from delivering advanced outpatient imaging that directly impacts patient outcomes. At our scale, the volume of screening exams you perform means your skill and attention to detail translate into real results for real patients.
That is not a tagline; that is the job.
A collaborative team environment: Join a team where support, communication, and shared clinical standards are the norm—not the exception. Our collaborative culture is the reason our technologists stay and thrive.
Flexibility and work-life balance: No trauma bays, no overnight on‑call, no unpredictable ER surges at 2 AM. You get the predictability of…
