Summary Statement

It is the primary responsibility of the Representative - Promotions and Events to complete various tasks related to supporting various events hosted by Resorts World including providing excellent customer service skills to guests.

Job Duties
  • Assist with pre‑event planning, tasks, and projects.
  • Serve as a greeter, brand ambassador, usher, and/or ticket taker for various special events.
  • Assemble gift packages, mailers, welcome packets, and other event‑related materials.
  • Complete guest check‑in while providing excellent customer service in all interactions with guests.
  • Assist with event tear‑down and clean‑up.
  • Assist with other resort‑related service interventions as needed, including but not limited to the following:
    • Provide drink service throughout the casino and resort.
    • Complete account sign‑ups for Resorts World’s program.
    • Assist Convention/Group Sales with guest registration.
    • Order and deliver amenities to guests’ rooms or elsewhere.
    • Serve as a property ambassador during need periods.
  • Obtain and maintain position‑specific licensing.
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job‑related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Perform other job‑related duties as requested.
Qualifications
  • Ability to contribute, grow and learn in the special events and promotions field.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Polished appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred
  • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
Minimum Education And Experience
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of six months of experience in special events within a similar or related field.
Certificates, Licenses, Regulations
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Ability to obtain the following:
    • Nevada Gaming Registration

  • Everyone works in Guest Experience – If a guest needs assistance, it is your responsibility to assist that guest and do so with a smile. If the guest needs more assistance than you can provide, it is your responsibility to notify the appropriate department or individual.
