**** THE JOB:
** As an Assistant Manager for F&B Operations at Vdara, you’ll help lead daily restaurant operations while supporting the calm, refined atmosphere that defines this all-suite luxury resort. Through hands-on leadership, a welcoming presence, and attention to detail, you’ll guide the team in delivering seamless service and anticipating guest needs. By taking ownership of the guest experience, you’ll help create memorable WOW moments that guests carry with them long after their relaxing stay at Vdara.

** THE DAY-TO-DAY:
*** Make daily floor plans per shift to ensure proper rotation and coverage of stations
* Supervise floor service in dining rooms during hours of operation
* Perform employee evaluations and manage issues related to attendance records
* Maintain communication with the Chef on all food service and menu issues
* Communicate with management, chefs and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address issues or needs requested by guests  and employees
* Order supplies through the IP System and Purchasing; prepare purchase requisitions for any outlets from the warehouse or  support departments
* Keep inventory form and stocking area updated
* Inspect food coming from support departments to assure freshness and quality
* Maintain direct communication with guests for special requests and large party reservations
** THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
*** High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
* Must be 21 years of age or older
* Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
* 2+ Years of prior relevant experience required
* Previous experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement preferred
* Working knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations preferred
