Housekeeper- Berkley Hotel at Silverton

Position Overview

Responsible for consistently meeting quality and timeliness standards in the cleaning of resort property units. A Housekeeper must ensure they follow the company mission statement and values.

• Maintain a high standard of excellence.
• Strip units of soiled linens.
• Remove trash from units.
• Clean units including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, closets, and decks.
• Report clean units as vacant and ready for inspection.
• Report unit maintenance issues according to company procedure.
• Report damaged, dirty or stained carpets, drapes, furniture, and linens.
• Report missing inventory and supplies to Supervisor.
• Perform weekly guest services cleans as directed.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of storage closets.
• Attend all training sessions and perform practical application of training.
• Ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist in solving guest complaints promptly.
• Maintain a high sense of urgency so units are turned on time.

• Previous experience in housekeeping preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds (with or without accommodation).
• Ability to make decisions.
• Planning and scheduling capabilities.
• Ability to read, write and do basic math.
• Personal timeliness; be prompt with all assignments.
• A passion for cleanliness.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to learn and adapt behavior.
• Work irregular hours.

This job operates in conditions that may include odors, dust, cleaning chemicals, and laundry chemicals. Housekeepers may be asked to perform additional tasks as directed by management.

Regular standing, walking, pushing, pulling, moving, lifting (up to 25lbs), bending, reaching, occasional ascending/descending, and repetitive motions. Must be able to perform essential functions; reasonable accommodations may be provided.

Base rate: $7.25–$16.13 per hour, varying with skills, qualifications, and experience. Earn up to $19 per hour through our piece‑rate system designed to reward efficiency and timeliness.
