Job Summary:
As a Guest Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience. Your role will involve handling reservations, addressing guest inquiries, and resolving any issues that arise during their stay. Your professionalism, communication skills, and commitment to guest satisfaction will be key to creating a memorable experience for our visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly attitude. Efficiently process guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring all necessary information is accurately recorded. Provide guests with information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
Handle reservations and cancellations, including modifications and special requests. Manage room assignments and ensure that guests are accommodated according to their preferences.
Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally. Assist with special requests, such as room upgrades, additional amenities, or transportation arrangements.
Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and other hotel departments to ensure guest needs are met. Provide clear and accurate information to guests about hotel policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, transactions, and feedback. Process payments and handle credit card transactions securely.
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Manage inventory, restock supplies, and track drink orders accurately.
Ensure the safety and security of guests and hotel property by following established procedures. Report any suspicious activities or safety hazards to management and/or the appropriate authorities.
Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a high standard of service and operational efficiency. Participate in training and development programs as required.
Performs all other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Two (2) years of previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in guest relations.
