** THE DAY-TO-DAY:
*** Work closely with the Senior Hotel Operations Manager to implement strategic initiatives for hotel operations provided by the Hotel Strategy CoE
* Assist in leading front desk operations through implementation of policies, procedures, training programs, manuals, directives, work schedules, rules, and regulations
* Provide leadership and direction to maintain and improve the guest experience within front desk operations in alignment with company service standards
* Support employee engagement for the front desk operations team through coaching, training, recognition, and development
* Participate in interviewing, candidate selection, training, supervision, coaching, and counseling of front desk operations staff to support efficient department operations
** THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
*** Must be 21 years of age or older
* Two (2) years of prior relevant experience in the direction and management of employees in a similar hotel environment preferred
* Previous experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement and AAA or Forbes knowledge preferred
* Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
