The Role:

Hospitality Manager (Contract)

The Hospitality Manager plans, organizes, and executes campus tours, client meetings, and hospitality events from initial planning through completion. This role is responsible for coordinating schedules, logistics, stakeholders, vendors, and project details to ensure tours and events are delivered on time, within budget, and to established Switch standards.

You will lead the planning of client-facing experiences ranging from data center tours to high-profile meetings and events. You will work closely with Security, Audio/Visual, Data Center Operations, vendors, executives, clients, and other internal teams to keep activities aligned and resolve issues as they arise.

This is a six-month contract position reporting to the Director of Hospitality. The role is based in Las Vegas and requires flexibility to work on-site up to five days per week depending on scheduled tours, meetings, events, and business needs.

What You'll Do

Own the planning and execution of prospective client, finance, marketing, team member, and spectator data center tours, including physical and virtual tours.

Keep stakeholders informed throughout planning and execution and proactively address issues that could affect delivery.

Coordinate and delegate project tasks to appropriate team members and track work through completion.

Serve as a central point of coordination when multiple teams are supporting the same initiative.

Coordinate attendee requirements, including attendance tracking, tour agreements, confirmations, and other visit requirements.

Maintain tour calendars across campus locations.

Lead planning and execution for client-focused meetings and events of varying size and complexity, including high-profile events.

Coordinate project management, venues, logistics, operations, technical and AV production, food and beverage, catering, travel, content, creative elements, décor, and other event production needs.

Support Hospitality administrative activities, including expense reports, travel and vehicle reservations, and project task tracking.

Communicate professionally with vendors, executives, clients, team members, and other stakeholders.

Coordinate with Security, Audio/Visual, Data Center Operations, and other teams to support seamless tour and event execution.

Identify opportunities to improve Hospitality protocols, workflows, and processes.

Deliver attentive and professional service to visitors and clients.

Respond promptly and professionally to telephone and email inquiries.

Maintain accurate schedules, project details, deadlines, and follow-up items.

Work on-site in Las Vegas up to five days per week when tours, events, meetings, or other business needs require.

What We're Looking For

You are highly organized and keep multiple schedules, projects, and details moving at the same time.

You communicate clearly and professionally with clients, executives, vendors, visitors, and internal teams.

You provide consistent, high-quality service in visible client-facing environments.

You remain composed and organized when timelines change or unexpected issues arise.

You anticipate project needs and address potential problems before they affect an event or tour.

You use sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.

You coordinate effectively across multiple teams and maintain clear ownership of deadlines and deliverables.

You take initiative and identify practical ways to improve workflows and recurring processes.

You support team members as priorities and business needs change.
