Position: In-Office IT Support Specialist / Systems Engineer

Requirements Must have:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of practical IT support experience in a professional setting
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace administration and full implementation
  • Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy management
  • Familiar with Microsoft Entra
  • Knowledgeable in IP networking, VPN, DHCP, and Wi Fi
  • Capable of documenting solutions and updating knowledge base articles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service
  • Experience in managing Linux, macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and Android operating systems is an advantage
  • Familiarity with firewall configuration and VPN setup across various platforms is ideal
  • Ability to work independently and tackle new challenges autonomously
  • Capacity to assist fellow technicians collaboratively while recognizing when to seek support is essential
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently for equipment handling
  • Skill in identifying primary colors for cabling issues and system diagnosis
  • Proficient in hearing callers clearly even in poor audio situations
Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and assistance for a range of issues, from end-user support to networking and cloud services
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network problems, including public internet issues and IoT
  • Prioritize support tickets intelligently while ensuring timely acknowledgment of client concerns
  • Maintain performance and security of systems for smooth business operations
  • Document internal procedures, create user guides, and manage knowledge base articles
  • Collaborate with IT team members to enhance service delivery and improve user experience
  • Continuously adapt and learn to stay current with developing technology trends and best practices
