Overview
Title: Senior Business Intelligence Developer
Pay Range: $50 - $60 per hour on W2
Location: Las Vegas, NV (Onsite)
Contract Duration: 6 months
Core Technical CompetenciesCore Technical
Competencies:
Power BI, Tableau, Python, SQL
Data Modeling & Query Development (approx. 30%)
- Translate operational and business rules into analytical datasets provided by data engineering teams
- Design, refine, and tune complex database queries for performance and accuracy
- Perform data transformation using Python and manage pipelines within Databricks
- Create, enhance, and maintain interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI and Tableau
- Assist with transitioning analytics assets across different systems or platforms
- Leverage visual analytics to confirm insights and inform strategic decision-making
Databricks Application Enablement (approx. 30%)
- Contribute to the build, upkeep, and enhancement of self-service tools hosted on Databricks
- Develop simple, reusable Python-based tools to support data access and analysis
