Responsibilities- High level troubleshooting of infrastructure technology related to problem and incidents
- Support business-critical IT tasks and systems
- Perform project management activities for IT KTLO initiatives as required
- Provide input into the technology roadmap strategy
- Responsible for deployment and configuration of Systems for windows and Linux.
- Skilled in troubleshooting windows, Linux and storage related problem and incidents
- Provide support by performing troubleshooting which may include, but not limited to problem recognition, root cause analysis, problem resolution, follow-up, and documentation
- Perform maintenance on system hardware and software including the restoration of hardware, software or configurations
- Assist in the development, deployment and support of automating the build of IT Systems and services
- Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems
- Provides assistances in leveraging technologies, processes, and disciplines for delivering best in class methods throughout IT System Infrastructure
- Participate in the implementation and configuration of BCP and DR procedures
- Must be able to support, install and implement both physical and virtual server solutions
- Technical resource for Systems Operational Support
- Ability to do on-call support
- Maintains a high level of service delivery, ensuring quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Establish and maintain documentation through best practice processes and procedures
- On-call support is required
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in field of computer science or information systems preferred
- Four (4) years or more in an IT environment preferred
- MCSE certification and at least three (3) years of experience preferred
- VMware certification preferred
- ITIL V3 Awareness training preferred
- On-call availability on a rotational basis is a requirement of this role
- Strong technical knowledge of IT enterprise systems and tools
- Good technical knowledge of infrastructure Systems hardware, protocols, and standards
- Experience in development, deployment and implementation of enterprise Systems
- Must have a good understanding of domain-level services such as DNS, DHCP, LDAP, Active Directory services
- Good working knowledge of writing scripts (Power Shell, VBScript, etc.)
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively synthesize and communicate about complex situations
- Experience in project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and meet deadlines
- Good conceptual thinker with the ability to analyze and grasp a situation quickly
