Relocation assistance is provided. Travel up to 50% across all of EMEA may be required. This role operates under German labor laws but reports to a U.S. Manager.

Motorola Solutions is a global technology company focused on public safety and mission-critical communications. This role supports U.S. DoD Federal Government customers within the Enterprise Land Mobile Radio (LMR) networks across the EMEA region.

• Technical Support & Service: Provide expert technical support, service, and integration for Motorola Solutions products focused on DoD customers; support U.S. Army, U.S. Air Forces, and U.S. Navy Enterprise LMR networks in multiple countries.
• System Maintenance & Operations: Operate and maintain equipment for trunked and conventional LMR systems; troubleshoot, repair, and program radio repeaters, portable/mobile radios, base stations, dispatch/communications consoles, and related equipment; provide on-site response and preventive maintenance for Motorola ASTRO 25 LMR systems.
• Customer Interaction & Management: Serve as primary point of contact for customer resolution, communicate project updates, and manage administrative actions; provide user refresher training and travel to support subscribers and infrastructure; promote the Motorola Service and Sales portfolio.
• Administrative & Compliance: Support established SLAs; provide administrative reports; diagnose and repair LMR equipment to OEM standards and document processes.

• Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contracts.
• Minimum 3 years of RF experience and at least 2 years of Networking experience (WAN/LAN); education or work experience may be substituted.
• Certified technician or equivalent qualification in industrial engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Motorola Solutions P25 Trunking Network Systems and radio systems/customer applications.
• Solid knowledge of RF theory and proficiency with hardware and software tools for RF and Networking equipment.
• Ability to interface with customer technical representatives and provide appropriate technical support.

• Ability to receive a U.S. Government security clearance and required position certifications (Form 86 questionnaire).
• Must possess a valid U.S. passport and U.S. driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% across all of EMEA; EU driver’s license is a plus.
• Relocation is provided.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Proficiency with MS applications and Google tools.
• One or more of:
  CompTIA Network+, Security+, MCSE, or CISSP.
• Sound judgment, problem-solving abilities, and flexibility; able to work well in a team.

Target Base Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 USD
