Summary

The Dev Ops Engineer is essential in maintaining reliability, performance, and automation across the company’s systems while partnering closely with development and product teams to eliminate blockers, streamline workflows, and continuously improve our CI/CD and cloud environments. Th 5+ years of experience to support the day-to-day operation of Pavilion Pay’s infrastructure and ensure teams can build, deploy, and deliver with confidence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and support the day-to-day operation of Pavilion Pay’s infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with Developers, QA, and Product Owners to understand priorities, resolve blockers, and deliver effective solutions.
  • Implement and improve automation across infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and business processes.
  • Contribute to observability, monitoring, and alerting strategies to ensure system reliability and uptime.
  • Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) across multiple environments to support development and production operations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align on best practices for infrastructure, automation, testing, and observability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues across application and infrastructure layers.
  • Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to enhance system reliability, scalability, and developer productivity.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Dev Ops, Site Reliability Engineering, or related roles.
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (Azure or GCP).
  • Proven ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops, or Argo CD.
  • Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, etc.).
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, or Power Shell) for automation.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with business process automation or workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, n8n, Zapier, etc.).
  • Familiarity with secrets management and secure key handling (e.g., Azure Key Vault, Hashi Corp Vault).
  • Background in fintech, payments, or high-availability systems.
