Role
Summary:
The position requires up to 90% travel across the United States and Internationally, with limited advanced notice.
Your duties will include:
- Manageand directonsiteteamresourcesincluding the creation of detailed daily schedules for all onsite team members.
- Collect operational considerationsfromcustomer project management anddesign configuration ofsystems to support customer requirements.
- Make recommendations to utilize full advantages of Agilysysproduct line while maximizing operational efficiencies.
- Identify and manage project scope.
Verify that project documentation is sufficient, as well as clear and concise toguaranteethat all parties areknowledgeableofrequired project tasks and milestones. - Collaborate with customer project management toreduce or eliminate project risks and exposures and to develop effective communication plan for escalation process; provide solutions for issues resulting in project scope change.
- Install, configure, and test system configuration in order to maximize efficiency and provide operational consistency.
- Managethe data conversion and reconciliation effort
- Develop detailed project documentation upon completion of project to ensure that the Customer Care team has all relevant information to handle support for client going forward.
- Research software problems defined by customers and provide diagnosis and resolution.
- Confirmproductionreadiness, and supports problem management and resolution through tactical and strategic technology insertions.
- Direct internal resources including identified Installation team, along with other internal
Agilysysresources,as needed, to work through project tasksand challenges to determine and finalize appropriate solutions to meet project goals. - Direct internal departments torecognizeinstallation improvementsandutilizeproduct feedback of Agilysysproductstoimprove the product.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements for success:
- Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in hospitality, technology, or related fields.
- Implementation
Experience:
3+ years of experience in system implementation, IT management, or hospitality operations. - Operational
Experience:
Experience in purchasing functions, inventory management, and reconciliation processes. - Travel Requirement:Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 90% of the year with limited advanced notice.
- Business Acumen:Good understanding of business operations and accounting practices.
- Customer Service:Strong dedication to providing excellent customer service.
- Communication:Exceptional communication skills, with fluency in English.
