Position: Delivery Lead: Scrum Master for Product Operations

Job Title:

Product Delivery Specialist (Scrum Master)

Reports to:

Product Operations Manager

Location:

Las Vegas

Summary

The Product Delivery Specialist will own one or more product verticals and drive the operational components of project execution from kickoff through delivery.

The Product Delivery Specialist will be a Scrum Master at the core. The role extends beyond ceremony facilitation to include project management discipline, Gantt charts, milestone tracking, dependency management, and risk escalation. The role is not a substitute for a Product Manager. Instead, the Product Delivery Specialist will ensure the effective execution of the product roadmap, prioritization and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Scrum Team Operations

  • Run all scrum ceremonies — sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives — with consistency and discipline
  • Maintain team cadence and accountability without micromanaging; you facilitate execution, not dictate it
  • Monitor and improve scrum team velocity, flagging degradation early and driving process improvements in response

Project Planning & Tracking

  • Build and maintain detailed project plans and Gantt charts for each initiative within the product vertical
  • Track deliverables, dependencies, and milestone commitments with rigor, identifying delivery risk and timeline impacts early before commitments are impacted.
  • Own the project plan as a living document — updating it as scope, sequencing, or team capacity shifts

Dependency & Coordination Management

  • Identify cross-team and cross-functional dependencies before they create blockers
  • Facilitate resolution across engineering, product, QA, and operations stakeholders
  • Serve as the operational connective tissue between the Product Organization (Product Management, Engineering, QA) and the broader organization (Risk, Legal, Fraud, IT, Customer Service), aligning support and facilitating execution as necessary
  • Lead go-to-market readiness (launch coordination, rollout planning, training readiness, documentation readiness, support planning, deployment sequencing)
  • Deliver support across Product, Engineering, QA, Operations, Support, and Compliance

Metrics & Dashboard Reporting

  • Develop and maintain project dashboards that give stakeholders real-time visibility into delivery health
  • Define and track KPIs that reflect project progress — velocity trends, milestone burn-down, defect rates, sprint completion rates, and risk indicators
  • Provide weekly status reporting to the Product Operations Manager for upward consolidation to CPO-level reporting

Process Improvement

  • Identify operational inefficiencies within the scrum teams and drive process improvements with projects
  • Contribute to the broader Product Operations playbook by driving consistency across teams in tooling usage, documentation, and delivery workflows as the org scales

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM or PSM) preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, scrum master, or delivery management role within a software product organization
  • Demonstrated experience running scrum ceremonies and managing scrum team operations
  • Proficiency building and maintaining project plans and Gantt charts (Smartsheet, Airtable, Jira, Azure Dev Ops, or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of agile delivery metrics — velocity, burn-down, cycle time, sprint completion rate
  • Experience building project dashboards and status reports for non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent dependency tracking and cross-functional coordination skills
  • Highly organized, process-driven, and comfortable operating in ambiguity
  • Background in Fin Tech or highly regulated software products, is desirable
