We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician with hands‑on experience to provide onsite technical support across multiple nearby locations. This role is ideal for a customer‑focused IT professional who enjoys working directly with end users and resolving technical issues in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide onsite desktop support for end users across multiple locations within a close geographic area
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues in Windows 10 environments
- Perform system imaging, device refreshes, and migrations to support ongoing IT initiatives
- Diagnose basic network issues, including internet outages and connectivity problems, and take appropriate troubleshooting steps
- Install, configure, and support desktops, laptops, and peripherals
- Deliver excellent customer service by clearly communicating technical solutions and guiding users through issue resolution
- Document and track incidents and service requests in a ticketing system and elevate issues when needed
- 2+ years of hands‑on desktop support or IT support experience
- Strong working knowledge of Windows 10 environments
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting (connectivity, outages, etc.)
- Experience with imaging, device refresh, and migration projects
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve end‑user technical issues efficiently
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users
- Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting mindset
- Ability to manage workload across multiple locations and prioritize tasks effectively
- Reliable, self‑motivated, and team‑oriented
- Schedule:
Sunday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1‑hour lunch) - Type: 6‑12 month contract‑to‑hire
- Travel:
Local travel between nearby sites required (all within ~10 miles) - Requirements:
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Contract to Hire position based out of Las Vegas, NV.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.00/hr.
