Simulator Technician

CAE, one of the largest business aviation training facilities, is looking for a Simulator Technician in our newest training center in Las Vegas, Nevada.  In this role you will perform preventative maintenance tasks on the simulators and associated simulator systems.##
** Description
* ** Learn and perform preventive maintenance tasks on simulators and associated simulator systems.
* Assist in diagnosing and correcting routine problems on simulators and associated systems.
* Perform pre‐flight and post‐flight tasks on designated simulators.
* Perform basic visual alignments.
* Run automatic Qualification Test Guide (QTG).
* Utilize the maintenance management system to record and track maintenance activities.
* Complete all designated training activities.
* Assist with refurbishment and hardware modifications.
* Learn and comply with CAE’s quality management system.
* Provide customer service support and address customer needs in a timely manner.
* Perform logistics duties, including parts receipt, repair, and testing/validation.
* Perform housekeeping functions to maintain simulators as required.
* Perform required administrative tasks.
* Work primarily at the Las Vegas Training Facility in Nevada.## ##
** Minimum Qualifications
*** 2‐year technical degree or equivalent related training.
* 1 year of simulator‐related experience in one of the following:  + Electronics/avionics  + Automated systems  + Computer networking repair and troubleshooting
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting prints and schematics.
* Knowledge of analog and digital theory.
* Basic skills in operating test equipment.
* Basic skills in soldering and circuit board repair.
* Some knowledge of PCs and MS Office tools and suite.
* Able to travel (less than 10%).
