Campus Relations Specialist – UNLV Enrollment Management, Campus Relations and Visitor Experience
Reports to the Assistant Director of Campus Relations. The Campus Relations Specialist (CRS) provides direct support to students, guests, and staff via chat, text, phone, and in-person interactions. The role creates and curates knowledge articles and chat utterances, improving machine learning and agent knowledge for all outreach channels.
Key Responsibilities- Provide accurate, concise responses to inquiries through chat, text, phone, and in-person communication.
- Research account activities, notes, and campus resources to troubleshoot issues and provide support documentation.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to appropriate offices while documenting interactions.
- Manage multiple support requests simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of campus programs, policies, and systems (CRM, SIS, etc.).
- Adapt to technology trends and recommend tech‑savvy solutions.
- Collaborate with the Campus Relations team to improve guest service and support processes.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- 1–3 years of related professional experience.
- Familiarity with CRM, SIS, and campus systems; ability to quickly learn new platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and customer‑service orientation.
- Master’s degree or equivalent advanced experience.
- Prior experience in higher‑education student services or campus relations.
- Background in machine learning support or knowledge‑management systems.
