Job Description
MSTS manages and operates the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) for the U.S. National Nuclear Security Administration. The role involves support and test services for high‑hazard security experiments.

- Assist with data entry for Footprints, WASP, SOLARWinds, phones, and customer requests in the ECN Network Operation Center.
- Support the Data Department with maintaining procurements, procedures, documents, inventories, and reports to ensure compliance with DOE Orders and company procedures.
- Provide end‑user desktop and service desk support, including installation, operation, builds, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of hardware and peripherals.
- Work under specific task direction and supervision from ECN Technical Staff.
- Learn basic technical procedures for data‑collection and measurement.
- Receive quality reviews from Senior Level Technical Leads to ensure procedural adherence.
- Support National Emergency Response drills and real‑world events through on‑call availability and travel by commercial or military aircraft.
- Travel as part of installation or restoration teams when directed.
- Perform routine work with supervision.
- Associate's degree in MIS, Computer Science or equivalent with at least one year of related experience.
- Training or related experience desired for the position.
- Working knowledge of Windows operating system and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Technical hobby or volunteer experience considered.
- Strong computer skills and team player with good customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and be available for on‑call duty and non‑standard hours.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements necessary to safely and effectively perform assigned duties.
- Valid driver's license.
- Pre‑placement physical examination and drug screen required; compliance with substance abuse policy.
- Minimum eligibility for DOE Q‑level security clearance (U.S. citizenship, age 18+).
- Background review and security clearance requirements per DOE directives.
- Schedule may include 4/10s, 9/80, or 5/8s; may require overtime.
- Hourly salary range: $22.67 - $34.01.
