DescriptionSAIC is seeking an MQ-9 Flight Simulator Field Service Representative to provide software and systems support for the MALET JSIL Aircrew Trainer (MJAT) located at Creech AFB in Las Vegas, NV. The MALET-JSIL Aircrew Trainer (MJAT) is a plug-and-play training capability that converts a current tactical MQ-9 Reaper ER ground control station (GCS) into a training simulator. It provides UAS/RPA operators the ability to conduct simulation training as part of their qualification and follow-on continuation training to maintain proficiency and currency in all required operator tasks.
Responsibilities- Provide software and systems support for the MALET JSIL Aircrew Trainer (MJAT)
- Integrate GOTS/COTS/EOM software and hardware components, understand wired networking, and apply life cycle system sustainment
- Deploy, maintain, and upgrade systems across the enterprise
- Provide on-site technical support, operational training of the system, and assistance in developing training scenarios
- Act as a representative of the JSIL toward the customer
- Bachelor's degree and five (5) years’ experience; additional four (4) years’ experience can be considered in lieu of degree
- Must possess an active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI; US Citizenship required
- Intermediate knowledge or understanding of Cisco Switches and Firewalls
- Intermediate experience troubleshooting IT systems and hardware
- Demonstrated experience with Windows, Redhat, and VMware
- Familiarity with MQ-9, MJAT, UAVs/Simulators, and UAV ground control stations (GCS)
