Title:

ELK Engineer
Duration: 6+ Months and Possible Extension

Location:

Las Vegas, NV - 89101 Onsite
Pay Range: $40- - $50/hr on W2/C2C all Inclusive
Introduction

We are seeking an experienced ELK Engineer to join our team for a 6-month onsite contract in Las Vegas, NV. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing the ELK stack for data pipelines, log analysis, and real-time visualization dashboards.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, or related field.
  • 6-8 years of ELK Developer experience.
  • Strong understanding of Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.
  • Experience with programming languages like Go or Java.
  • Experience with data pipelines, data ingestion, and index lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency in shell scripting and Unix/Linux administration.
  • Good understanding of Dev Ops processes and CI/CD tools.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with monitoring tools and techniques, including developing advanced Kibana dashboards.
  • Ability to work through ambiguous and open-ended business requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a global organization.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain scalable ELK stack solutions for log ingestion, processing, and analysis.
  • Configure and manage Logstash to parse and enrich log data from various sources.
  • Build and manage interactive Kibana dashboards for real-time monitoring and analytics.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance, scalability, and resilience of the ELK stack.
  • Resolve complex issues related to data indexing, querying, and visualization within the ELK environment.
