Applications Engineer - Identity

Job Overview

Since 2012, AMH has grown to become a leading single‑family rental and homebuilding company. The Applications Engineer – Identity supports Identity Management across the company, backing up corporate applications as needed. The role processes access requests, resolves IAM system issues, supports outages, and participates in on‑call rotation.

• Maintain and monitor support queues and service level agreements.
• Support other IT teams with application requests.
• Investigate, triage, and troubleshoot escalated issues and system outages.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement problem management strategies.
• Facilitate change management processes, including test, communication, implementation, and rollback plans.
• Assist in training operational teams and document procedures for incidents.
• Troubleshoot and respond to incidents escalated in the support queue.
• Update and create process documentation, procedures, and policies.
• Keep documentation current to IT standards.
• Improve processes to support sustainable and flexible architecture.
• Follow all organizational programs, training, policies, and procedures.
• Support safety program and comply with Injury and Illness Prevention Program.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience in Business, Systems, and/or Application Analysis.
• Minimum three years of experience in Systems or Application Support.
• Experience supporting Public Cloud and SAAS technologies.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Advanced troubleshooting and solutioning skills.
• Excellent planning, analysis, and organization skills.
• Strong analytical abilities.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $91,597.00 to $. Base pay depends on location, education, experience, and other factors.
