We are seeking an experienced Big Commerce Architect to design and implement scalable eCommerce solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Big Commerce development, headless commerce, and third-party integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement scalable eCommerce architecture on Big Commerce
• Lead technical discussions and provide guidance to development teams
• Develop headless commerce solutions using Big Commerce APIs, GraphQL, and Webhooks
• Integrate Big Commerce with ERP, CRM, PIM, OMS, and payment gateways
• Optimize site performance, security, and scalability
• Establish coding standards, best practices, and reusable components
• Work closely with UI/UX teams for seamless customer experiences
• Stay updated on Big Commerce releases, APIs, and industry trends

Required

Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years in eCommerce development (3+ years in Big Commerce)
• Strong knowledge of Big Commerce Stencil, APIs, and headless commerce
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, React.js, or Vue.js
• Experience integrating with third-party applications using RESTful APIs and GraphQL
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and deployment strategies
• Solid understanding of performance optimization, caching, and security best practices
• Strong knowledge of eCommerce workflows, product catalogs, checkout, and payments
• Bonus:
  Experience with MACH architecture (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, Headless)
