Technical Project Manager / Business Analyst – AI & Software Delivery

Fusion HCR is seeking a Technical Project Manager / Business Analyst to support a growing portfolio of AI-driven software development initiatives. This role will serve as the operational and technical bridge between business stakeholders and developers, helping bring structure, prioritization, and delivery discipline to projects leveraging modern AI-assisted development practices.

The ideal candidate has experience working directly with software development teams and has personally utilized AI tools to automate business processes, accelerate development, build applications, or improve operational workflows. This individual will help organize and manage multiple AI-enabled development efforts while ensuring projects remain aligned with business objectives, timelines, and quality standards.

Current initiatives include internally developed web applications, AI-powered solutions, automation projects, and emerging "vibe coding" efforts where developers leverage AI tools to rapidly build and iterate on software products.

• Manage multiple concurrent software development and AI-enabled initiatives.
• Establish appropriate project structure, governance, and delivery processes for rapidly evolving development efforts.
• Coordinate priorities, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across stakeholders and developers.
• Track project progress and communicate status, risks, and milestones to leadership.

• Gather, document, and refine business requirements and user stories.
• Translate business needs into actionable development tasks and priorities.
• Maintain and prioritize product backlogs across multiple initiatives.
• Ensure delivered solutions align with business goals and user expectations.

• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, standups, retrospectives, and release planning activities.
• Work closely with developers utilizing AI-assisted development tools and modern software delivery practices.
• Remove blockers, clarify requirements, and maintain delivery momentum.
• Introduce lightweight processes that improve visibility and execution without slowing innovation.

• Support projects involving AI-enabled applications, workflow automation, chatbots, and internally developed business tools.
• Partner with developers leveraging AI coding platforms and emerging development technologies.
• Help evaluate, prioritize, and manage proof-of-concept and production AI initiatives.
• Drive adoption of best practices for AI-assisted software delivery and project execution.

• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Business Analyst, Product Owner, Scrum Master, or similar delivery-focused role.
• Experience working directly with software development teams.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to automate workflows, improve productivity, build solutions, or support software development efforts.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
• Experience gathering requirements, documenting user stories, and managing development backlogs.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience supporting AI, automation, chatbot, low-code/no-code, or emerging technology initiatives.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development platforms such as Git Hub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Windsurf, or similar tools.
• Technical background supporting software development projects.
• Scrum Master certification or Agile delivery experience.
• Experience with Jira, Azure Dev Ops, Smartsheet, or similar project management tools.
• Hospitality, gaming, or casino technology experience.

• Provides structure and visibility across multiple AI-enabled development initiatives.
• Effectively prioritizes work and aligns stakeholders around delivery objectives.
• Helps development teams move quickly while maintaining accountability and project discipline.
• Successfully supports the delivery of AI-powered applications, automation solutions, and internally developed software products.
